Cold-applied corrosion protection tapes and wrapping systems
Five product systems, fourteen products, manufactured in-house — petrolatum, viscoelastic, microcrystalline wax and polyolefin tapes, with the primers, filling compounds and protective outer wraps that complete them. Choose the system from the environment and the asset; choose the products from the role each one plays in the build-up.
Five systems
Every technical data sheet on this site is free to download, without a form and without registering — including the third-party test report behind each product.

Petrolatum Anti-Corrosion Tape
The reference cold-applied system for tank bases, valves, flanges and complex steel. Marine, industrial and seawater grades.

Viscoelastic Tape and Paste
Permanently non-curing polymer that cold-flows into the surface profile. No primer, no cathodic protection shielding, zero VOC.

PE and PP Pipeline Tape
Bitumen-adhesive polyolefin tape for buried steel pipelines. Works as the primary wrap and as a protective outer wrap.

Microcrystalline Wax Tape
For severe, humid, buried and immersed service. Tested against the ASTM and AWWA C217 method set used internationally for wax tape.

Protective Outer Wraps
Aluminium foil for UV and above-ground exposure; PE and PP for buried and mechanically loaded service. Specified for the actual exposure.

Primers, Mastics and Pastes
Primers for horizontal, vertical and overhead work; filling compounds for bolt recesses, weld caps and chime edges.
Which system for which asset
A first-pass guide only. Final selection depends on substrate condition, environment, temperature, geometry and mechanical exposure — and on the project specification, which always takes precedence.
| Application | Petrolatum | Viscoelastic | Wax | PE | PP | Aluminium |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tank annular plate / chime edge | P | S | S | – | – | O |
| Valve, flange and irregular detail | P | P | S | – | – | O |
| Buried pipeline rehabilitation | S | P | S | S | P | – |
| New buried steel pipeline | S | S | S | P | P | – |
| Above-ground exposed steel | P | S | S | – | – | P |
| High mechanical soil stress | A | A | A | S | P | – |
| Submerged, tidal and splash zone | P | S | P | – | – | – |
| Shipboard pipework and fittings | P | S | S | – | – | S |
Modular, not a fixed four-layer recipe
Components are selected and combined for the asset. Not every system uses every component: some viscoelastic configurations need no primer, filling compound is used only where the geometry is irregular, and the outer wrap is chosen for the exposure — or omitted where there is none.
Each application page shows the sequence drawn in section, stage by stage, with the products and figures taken from the corresponding solution document.

Wets the prepared steel and inhibits corrosion at the interface.
Mastic / paste
Fills gaps, bolt recesses and weld caps so the wrap makes continuous contact.
Corrosion tape
The continuous barrier against water, vapour, oxygen and corrosive media.
Outer wrap
Resists UV, weather, soil stress, handling and mechanical damage.
Send us the asset, we will propose the system
Asset type, dimensions, operating temperature, exposure and estimated quantity are enough for us to return a system configuration, a material estimate and the supporting documents.
